Youth Programs
NEW AND IMPROVED: “PONY CLUB”
This student run program provides the opportunity for lesson students to come together once monthly and have some fun while sharing their knowledge and love of horses. There are three main components to our new pony club: service, learning, and social events. Service: Students come up with fundraisers that benefit community organizations such as horse adoption or therapeutic riding programs. They also complete projects at Duzan Riding Academy to benefit THEIR facility. Learning: Each meeting, an individual or group of students gives a presentation on a topic of their choice that has to do with horses. There may also be other activities such as jeopardy/ horse bowl, groom and clean contests, or guest speakers. Social Events: Students organize fun events such as pizza parties, game nights, movie nights, sleep overs, field trips etc.
Meeting Dates: One Saturday per month September – June in addition to any social events planned
